And since they are combustible, they need to be separated and sealed from fire or even water to ensure that they would work and last without dying for a couple of hours, days or weeks.

Be familiar with the terrain. Even if you have a guide, its still crucial to be aware of the terrain, shortcuts, the closest town, forest and other places that you see. Study the weather situations and the natural resources available in the area to prepare at all times.

Above all, be safe at all times. Safety is such an important thing. As much as you care for having fun and enjoyment, do not compromise your health and condition at all times.
